I am Tessa Blackburn.

Why I Serve Through Photography

Don't you love looking back at family pictures from when you were growing up?

One of my favorite things to do when I visit my parents or grandparents is to flip though old photo boxes and albums. I enjoy seeing pictures of my parents while they were dating and newly married. It is fun to see them at my age now in photographs! I also treasure the pictures of my twin sister, Katrina, and me as babies and through childhood.

It is such a blessing to know that my parents thought ahead, and took the time to make sure that each stage of life was documented to be remembered in the stages of life to come.

My love for capturing important life moments has given me a desire to provide peace of mind for young and growing families. I want couples and parents to be able to have truly beautiful, quality photographs to document their story for their children and future generations to remember.

Let me extend my service to you of documenting THIS moment in your growing family's life through beautiful, quality photographs!

Here are some fun facts about me:

I was born and raised in the small, southern town of Aiken, SC.
I met my husband, Jono, in a college biology class. He was a Senior and I was a Freshman.
We are now both Researchers at UAB!
We currently reside in the beautiful Highland Parks area of Birmingham, AL.
We are both believers in Christ and we attend the Church at Brook Hills!
My Husband converted me into a Bama fan. Roll Tide!
I converted him into a cat-lover.
We have three handsome tuxedo cats: Maximus, Samson, and Cody.
